High Speed Internet in Spruce Creek South

There are three options available for SCS residents.

1)WebKraft Wireless - A wireless service that is made available by installing a small transceiver on your roof top, installing wiring into your home, and connecting to your computer. This service offers the speed of 3.0 Mbps for $40 per month.

2) Cablevision of Marion County provides a service through your TV cable to your computer through a cable modem. This service offers the speed of 3.0 Mbps for $40 per month. They have a new service at 1.5Mbps for $24.95 per month ($29.95 if no cable service). The service requires a dedicated outlet (no TV) for your cable modem. A charge of $50 for installation of a dedicated outlet. For snowbirds there is a vacation status.

3) Embarq provides a Digital Subscriber Line (DSL) service through your telephone line to your computer through a modem. The service offers the speed of 1.5 Mbps for $24.95 per month (not available in all of the community until 1Q 2008).  For snowbirds, the service can go on vacation.

All three services require a Network Interface Card (Ethernet adaptor) in your computer, and a one time charge for installation.
